Beat Herren – Music Producer, DJ & Visionary since 1991

It all began in 1991: As DJ Fantasy Dream, he was one of the first trance DJs in Switzerland. In 1994, he released his first vinyl and CD production on the German label Adam & Eve Records. He went on to found Bopp Records in 1995 and Deep Inside Music in 2004, which was distributed exclusively by EMI Music.

In 2005, he produced the official Street Parade Movie DVD and performed for many years on the legendary love mobiles of Zurich’s Street Parade – one of Europe’s biggest electronic events. With his pop project Carma, he won the Swiss Music Award for Best National Music Video.

He has played at renowned festivals such as Airbeat One, Indian Spirit, VuuV Festival, and Burning Mountain. As an active part of the Swiss scene, Beat Herren has also organized countless events across Switzerland and was the owner of the iconic Stairs Club Zurich, which he ran from 2008 to 2017.

Today, he is a resident DJ at Alte Kaserne Zurich and runs his own party label Friday Proggie, hosting successful club nights focused on Progressive and Psytrance.

Since the 1990s, Beat Herren has released music on labels such as Blue Tunes, Upward Records, VuuV Records, EMI, and many more. His side project Amagra was launched in 2002. To date, he has released over 200 original productions, remixes, and ghost productions.

In 2023, he founded his own label Future Waves Records, a platform for high-quality electronic music featuring international artists and his own releases.
